How can we help?

Shipping and Delivering

3. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

The Incoterms for Elecbee orders are generally FCA (Free Carrier) or EXW (Ex Works), depending on the shipping method and quotation. Freight charges may be prepaid or collected according to the agreed shipping arrangement.

Customers are responsible for any destination charges imposed by government authorities, customs, or logistics providers, including but not limited to import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, courier handling fees, storage fees, remote area surcharges, and other destination-related charges. Elecbee is not responsible for these charges after the package has been shipped.

As customs policies and clearance requirements vary by country or region, Elecbee cannot provide accurate estimates of specific import costs. We recommend contacting your local customs office or logistics provider before placing your order.

If your shipment requires specific customs information, documents, tax numbers, or clearance instructions, please provide them when placing your order. Elecbee will provide reasonable support where possible.

Attention:

  • Customs authorities or logistics providers in some countries or regions may require the importer or consignee to provide identification or tax information before releasing a shipment. This may include a Unique Identification Number, GST number, VAT number, business registration number, Tax ID, or other required information. Please include such information in your shipping address if applicable.
  • Some countries or regions may require an identification number, tax number, or a copy/photo of the consignee’s ID card or passport. Examples may include Taiwan, China; India; Brazil; Turkey; Chile; Ecuador; Israel; Peru; Qatar; South Africa; and Norway. For Norway, a tax number or VAT-related information may be required for customs clearance. Elecbee customer service will contact you if additional information is needed.
  • India: Shipments to India may require the consignee to provide KYC documents, including government-recognized identity and address proof, for customs clearance. If the shipment is handled by DHL, the consignee may be required to upload KYC documents through DHL’s designated KYC portal: www.kyc.india.express.dhl.com. For other carriers, please follow the carrier’s instructions.
  • If a customer refuses to pay destination charges or fails to provide required customs information, the shipment may be returned, abandoned, detained, or destroyed by customs or the logistics provider. In such cases, Elecbee will not provide a refund for the order amount, shipping fee, or any related charges.
  • If the package has been delivered and any destination charges are paid in advance by Elecbee due to customs or logistics processing, the customer remains responsible for those charges. Elecbee reserves the right to request reimbursement or deduct the corresponding amount from any related balance, credit, or refund where applicable.
