The XIAO SAMD21 is a compact ATSAMD21G18 microcontroller development board for embedded control, sensor integration, wearable electronics, USB HID devices and rapid hardware prototyping. Its 21 × 17.8mm form factor provides 32-bit Arm processing and multiple peripheral interfaces in a space-saving design.

The original XIAO SAMD21 accepts 5V through its USB Type-C interface. It does not include onboard battery charging or protection, so battery-powered designs require an external battery-management circuit with a regulated output.
