Elecbee 5–30V PWM Brushed DC Motor Speed Controller

This Elecbee PWM speed controller is designed for compatible two-wire brushed DC motors operating from a 5–30V DC supply. It combines adjustable motor speed with forward and reverse control through two independent momentary push buttons.

Press and hold the corresponding direction button to run the motor forward or in reverse. Releasing the button disconnects motor output, making the controller suitable for applications requiring operator-controlled movement.

Power Rating Note: The 300W rating applies only at the maximum 30V input and 10A load. Actual continuous capacity depends on motor startup current, mechanical load, wiring and module cooling.

0–5V Interface and PLC Control

Manual Control: Turn the wired potentiometer to change PWM duty cycle and adjust motor speed across the specified 0–100% range.

PLC Control: Connect a compatible 0–5V analog-voltage signal through the center potentiometer wire. Confirm the signal wire and reference ground before connecting external control equipment.

Microcontroller Control: A DAC, filtered PWM circuit or compatible analog-output module may be required. A standard digital GPIO or PWM pin is not automatically a 0–5V analog output.

Systems using 0–10V or 4–20mA control signals require an appropriate converter. Do not apply more than 5V to the analog control input.

Wiring Connections

Power Input: Connect a correctly polarized 5–30V DC power supply
Motor Output: Connect the two brushed DC motor leads to the marked motor terminals
Speed Control: Connect the supplied potentiometer or compatible 0–5V analog signal
Forward Button: Press and hold the assigned forward-direction button to run
Reverse Button: Press and hold the assigned reverse-direction button to run

Follow the terminal labels and polarity markings printed on the supplied controller. Complete all wiring before applying power.

Release the active button and allow the motor to stop before pressing the opposite direction button. Do not press both direction buttons simultaneously.

Applications, Compatibility and Safety

This PWM motor controller is suitable for compatible brushed DC motors used in operator-controlled mechanisms, motorized actuators, engineering prototypes, automation equipment, conveyors, pumps, fans and robotics projects.

Compatibility: Designed for two-wire brushed DC motors operating within the specified 5–30V and 10A maximum limits. It is not suitable for three-phase brushless motors, stepper motors or direct AC motor control.
