The Matrix 1S Brushless Flight Controller (5IN1 II) combines the flight controller, ESC, Betaflight OSD, serial ELRS 2.4GHz receiver and 5.8GHz analog VTX on one compact board for 1S FPV whoop builds. This listing is specifically for the G4 5IN1 V2 Pre-Soldered Motor Connector Version.

Version supplied: Four gold-plated JST1.25mm motor connectors are factory-soldered to the flight controller for plug-in motor installation. The U-shaped BT2.0 power lead is supplied separately.

Integrated Control, Logging and Radio Link

The STM32G473CEU6 MCU, ICM42688P gyroscope and 16MB blackbox memory provide responsive control and onboard flight-data logging. The integrated serial ELRS 2.4GHz receiver uses the CRSF protocol and is supplied with ELRS firmware V3.4.3.

12A ESC and Impact-Resistant Structure

The integrated 1S 12A ESC supports 12A continuous output and up to 18A peak current, with DShot300 and DShot600 signal protocols. The 1.0mm PCB, redistributed components and reinforced three-point layout are designed to improve durability in compact whoop builds.

Connection and Operating Instructions

Before Installation

• Use a 1S battery only and verify BT2.0 polarity before applying power.
• Install the 5.8GHz antenna before powering the board. Do not operate the VTX without an antenna.
• The four JST1.25mm motor connectors are factory-soldered. Connect only compatible motor plugs with the correct pin orientation.
• The U-shaped BT2.0 lead is supplied separately. Solder it to the specified battery pads with correct polarity.

Default UART Assignment

• UART2: VTX control via TBS SmartAudio
• UART3: onboard serial ELRS receiver
• For an optional external CRSF receiver, configure Receiver Mode as Serial (via UART) and Serial Receiver Provider as CRSF.

Onboard ELRS Binding

1. Power the flight controller on and off three times within five seconds.
2. A quick double-blinking receiver LED indicates binding mode.
3. Start the binding function on the compatible transmitter. A solid receiver LED indicates a successful link.

Typical Applications and Compatibility

Designed for high-output 1S whoop racing, freestyle, training and DIY FPV builds. Supplier-listed applications include Air65 II, Air75 II, Air65, Meteor65 Pro and Meteor75 Pro platforms, with commonly used 0702, 0802 and 1102 motors and the C03 camera. • FC, receiver and ESC firmware values describe the supplied configuration and may change after a firmware update.
• An incorrectly connected power lead, reversed polarity, operating the VTX without an antenna or using power outside the 1S specification may damage the board.
