INTEGRATED GNSS RECEIVER AND ANTENNA: Beitian BN-220 combines an M8030-KT positioning receiver and antenna in a compact module. It provides 72 search channels and 4M Flash that retains modified configuration after power is removed.

MULTI-CONSTELLATION POSITIONING: Supports GPS L1, GLONASS L1, BeiDou B1, Galileo E1, SBAS L1 and QZSS L1. The default mode is GPS + GLONASS + SBAS + QZSS, with configurable Galileo or BeiDou combinations.

UART TTL DATA OUTPUT: The 4-pin 1.00 mm connector provides GND, TX, RX and VCC. Select NMEA-0183 or UBX output, 4800–921600 bps and 1–10 Hz update rates; defaults are NMEA-0183, 9600 bps and 1 Hz.

COMPACT 3.0–5.5 V MODULE: Measures 22 x 20 x 6 mm, weighs 5.3 g and draws 50 mA during normal operation at 5.0 V. The package includes one BN-220 module, two connection cables and one round double-sided adhesive pad.

POSITION STATUS INDICATORS: A blue TX LED flashes when valid data is being output, while the red PPS LED begins flashing after a 3D fix. This version has no electronic compass; confirm voltage, pin order and host UART compatibility before connection.

Configurable TTL Serial Output

Connect the module through its 1.00 mm-pitch 4-pin socket. Pin 1 is GND, pin 2 is TX data output, pin 3 is RX data input and pin 4 is the DC 3.0–5.5 V supply input. Verify the host connector orientation before applying power.

STATUS AND APPLICATION

Visible Data and Position-Fix Feedback

The blue TX indicator flashes when valid serial data is present. The red PPS indicator remains off before positioning and flashes after a 3D fix. The module is intended for compatible embedded navigation, position logging, robotics and development systems that accept UART TTL GNSS data.

Important Integration NoteThis BN-220 version does not include an electronic compass. Confirm the 1.00 mm connector orientation, TTL signal compatibility, supply voltage and required constellation configuration before installation. Open-sky conditions are required for the specified SBAS-assisted horizontal accuracy.
