Dual-Stage Low-Noise RF Receiver Front End

Designed for compatible ADS-B receivers, this module combines two low-noise amplifier stages and two dedicated filter stages to amplify 1090 MHz signals while suppressing unwanted out-of-band energy.

Two Amplifier Stages and Two Filter Stages

The RF path uses cascaded low-noise amplification and filtering to provide 38 dB gain at 1090 MHz. The dual-filter structure is intended to reduce interference outside the ADS-B reception band.

FILTER RESPONSE

Focused on the 1090 MHz ADS-B Band

The two filter stages are centered on 1090 MHz. The specified response provides 75 dB suppression at ±50 MHz and 55 dB suppression at ±1 GHz from the center frequency.

CONNECTIONS

Clearly Marked RF and Power Interfaces

Connect the antenna-side signal to the SMA female port marked RFin and connect the receiver to the SMA female port marked RFout. Apply DC 3.3-5 V to the VCC and GND pads while observing the marked polarity.

COMPACT PCB

43 × 24.5 mm Receiver Front-End Board

The compact PCB measures approximately 43 × 24.5 mm and weighs about 8 g. Four corner mounting holes are provided for integration into a compatible receiver assembly or enclosure.
