Generate 35MHz-4.4GHz RF Signals: The ADF4351-OLED PLL signal generator covers a wide frequency range for RF experiments, sensor excitation, clock generation and transmission-line testing.

The Elecbee ADF4351-OLED is a broadband PLL frequency synthesizer and RF signal generator module designed for point-frequency output, frequency sweeping, frequency hopping and output-power adjustment. Its integrated OLED display and control buttons allow direct operation without requiring a separate host controller.
The integrated VCO generates fundamental frequencies from 2.2GHz to 4.4GHz. Internal divide-by-2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 circuits extend the RF output range down to 35MHz, supporting wideband signal-generation and sweep-source applications.
Outputs from 35MHz to 2.2GHz are generated through frequency division and produce a square-wave-like waveform with harmonic content. An external filter is required when a sinusoidal waveform is needed in this frequency range. Outputs from 2.2GHz to 4.4GHz are fundamental-frequency sine waves.
The module provides 0.1MHz frequency-control resolution, adjustable sweep steps from 0.1MHz to 999.9MHz and sweep-time settings from 1ms to 9999ms. Four output-power settings allow the RF level to be adjusted to 0dB, -3dB, -6dB or -9dB.
The module is suitable for RF signal generation, sensor excitation, transmission-line loss and attenuation testing, scanning clock generation, communication experiments, laboratory development and compatible radio-frequency test systems.
Use a regulated linear 5V power supply to reduce unwanted interference. Do not reverse the power polarity or apply more than 6V. Connect the output to compatible 50Ω instruments using good-quality SMA coaxial cables. The supplied code does not include USB communication software, MCU tutorials or host-computer control functions; these functions require user development.
