1MHz–700MHz BROADBAND RF AMPLIFIER: Amplifies compatible RF signals across a wide frequency range for shortwave radio, FM transmission, two-way radio, remote-control equipment, data-radio systems and RF laboratory projects.
35dBm OR 3.2W MAXIMUM OUTPUT: Delivers a supplier-specified maximum RF output of approximately 35dBm or 3.2W into a compatible 50-ohm load at lower frequencies. Maximum output is not constant across the complete frequency range.
UP TO 35dB GAIN: Provides approximately 35dB maximum low-frequency gain. At 500MHz, the stated performance is approximately 32dBm or 1.6W output from a 2dBm input, corresponding to approximately 30dB gain.
15V DC AND 50-OHM INTERFACE: Operates from a regulated 15V DC supply with approximately 450mA typical current under high-output conditions. Both RF input and output are designed for compatible 50-ohm signal paths.
REAR HEATSINK AND SAFE OPERATION: Measures approximately 37 × 56mm with an approximately 15mm overall height. Connect a valid RF signal source and correctly rated 50-ohm output load before applying power, and keep the heatsink ventilated.

The Elecbee broadband RF power amplifier is designed to increase the power of compatible radio-frequency signals between 1MHz and 700MHz. It can be integrated into suitable shortwave radio, FM transmission, two-way radio, remote-control, data-radio and RF test systems.
The module provides a supplier-specified maximum low-frequency output of approximately 35dBm or 3.2W into a compatible 50-ohm load. Gain and output power decrease as frequency increases, so the 3.2W figure must not be interpreted as a constant output across the complete operating range.

At lower frequencies, an input of approximately 0dBm or 1mW can produce a stated maximum output of approximately 35dBm, corresponding to approximately 35dB gain.
At 500MHz, the stated input is approximately 2dBm and the output is approximately 32dBm or 1.6W. This operating point corresponds to approximately 30dB gain.
Actual performance depends on operating frequency, input level, supply stability, RF matching, load impedance, temperature and individual module variation. Refer to the supplied S21 curve and point-frequency test results when designing for a specific frequency.

Use a regulated 15V DC power source capable of supplying the amplifier’s operating current. Verify supply polarity before connection and complete all RF and power wiring before switching on the supply.
Both RF ports are designed for compatible 50-ohm systems. Use suitable RF cables and connect the output to a correctly matched antenna, attenuator, dummy load or test instrument with adequate power-handling capacity.

The amplifier can be used in compatible shortwave radio equipment, FM transmitters, handheld-radio projects, remote-control systems, data radios, RF signal generators and engineering test setups.
Before integration, confirm that the required frequency, input power, gain, output level, impedance and modulation method are compatible with the module. Radio transmission must comply with applicable licensing, frequency-allocation and output-power regulations.
Connect Before Power-On: Follow the supplier requirement to connect the RF signal source and output load before applying power.
Use a 50-Ohm Load: Do not operate with an open, shorted or severely mismatched output.
Regulated Supply: Use only a stable 15V DC power source with correct polarity.
Maximum Rating: The 3.2W and 35dB figures represent maximum low-frequency performance, not guaranteed full-band values.
Input Level: Do not exceed the input power required for the selected operating frequency.
Cooling: Keep the rear heatsink unobstructed and provide adequate airflow during extended operation.
