Perfect replacement for my old serial cable setup. The gold-plated brass pins make solid contact, and the zinc alloy body feels way more durable than plastic D-subs.

Good build quality for the price. Soldering the cup terminals was easy, and it fits snugly into my industrial control panel. Wish it came with a dust cap though.

Exactly as described – tin-plated stamped pins and flame-retardant insulator. Used in a data comm rack and handles the environment well down to -55°C.

Solid connector for RS232 applications. Took a bit of force to mate, but that’s probably due to tight tolerances. Works reliably so far after two weeks.
