Description
1. GPRS module GM3 supports low power mode, users can use AT command to enter low power mode, or can turn on automatic low power mode.
2. Users can use the network AT command, external GPIO and phone text messages to wake up, which is convenient for power consumption when using battery power.
3. When the GPRS module GM3 is used as the TCP CLIENT, after the TCP successfully establishes the link, it automatically sends a predetermined registration packet for the TCP server to identify the TCP.
4. The registration packet data can be an IMEI code, an ICCID code, and custom registration data.
5. GPRS module GM3 In the network transparent transmission mode, the user can choose to let the module send the heartbeat packet. The heartbeat packet can be sent to the network server or sent to the serial device.
6. The network heartbeat packet is continuously sent to maintain the normal connection between the module and the server.
7. The serial heartbeat packet is suitable for sensors that cannot actively push data to the server to actively capture sensor data.
8. LBS base station positioning can obtain the location information of the GPRS module GM3 through the network of the telecom mobile operator, conveniently querying the location of the GM3, and making up for the GPS positioning affected by weather, high buildings, locations, and the like.
9. GPRS module GM3 supports the second network link, which is suitable for users who need to send data to two servers for data backup and remote abnormal diagnosis.
The GPRS module GM3 mainly has four working modes: network transparent transmission mode, HTTPD Client, SMS transparent transmission mode, and AT command mode.
1. Network transparent mode:
In this mode, the user's serial device can send data to the specified server through the GPRS module GM3. GM3 supports two-way socket links, namely socket A and socket B. The two links are independent of each other. The following is a detailed introduction.
2. HTTPD Client mode
This mode passes data directly to the HTTP server or from the HTTP server. As long as the data is sent to the serial port according to the format, the data will be directly submitted to the web server (such as apache, IIS, tomcat, etc.) by Http (GET/POST). The website programmer can directly use the script language such as PHP and ASP to do the database storage. Wait for processing. The best choice for a B/S architecture system!
3. SMS transparent transmission mode
In the SMS transparent transmission mode, the user's serial device can send a text message to the specified mobile phone, or forward the information received by the mobile phone to the serial device. Transparent data communication between the mobile phone and the serial device can be realized with simple parameter setting.
4. AT command mode
The GPRS module GM3 supports serial AT commands, short message AT commands, and network AT commands.
Serial AT command: It means that the GSM module works in transparent transmission mode, no need to switch to the command mode, use the password plus AT command to set and query the parameters.
Network AT command: refers to the GSM module works in transparent transmission mode, through the network to send passwords and AT commands to set and query parameters.
SMS AT command: refers to the method of setting and querying the GPRS module by means of remote short message.
