The Elecbee PL2303 USB-C to RS232 adapter cable converts a compatible laptop or desktop computer USB-C port into a DB9 female serial interface. After compatible driver installation, it creates a virtual COM port for communication with commercial, automation and industrial RS232 equipment.

The cable supports a supplier-specified communication rate up to 1Mbps. Tinned-copper conductors, foil and braided shielding, gold-plated contacts and a black PVC jacket support dependable integration in compatible serial communication systems.

Shielded Cable Construction

Compatible Windows installations may obtain a driver automatically through Windows Update when the computer has internet access. Automatic driver installation is not guaranteed for every PL2303 revision or operating-system build.

The computer’s USB-C port must support USB data communication. A charging-only USB-C port cannot provide the required data connection.
