Flexible PVC jacket
A flexible PVC jacket and molded connector overmolds support cable routing within equipment, between cabinets and across the installation.
Copper pairs with shielding
The cable combines pure copper conductors, twisted pairs and double shielding. Copper conductors carry the signal, while the pair arrangement and shielding form the cable’s internal construction.
Gold-plated contacts
The RJ45 detail identifies gold-plated copper contacts, a locking tab and a nickel-plated shield. Contacts, the shield and cable conductors are separate components with distinct material descriptions.

Protection at the M12 connection
The M12 connection is specified as IP67 when correctly mated and locked to a suitable counterpart. This rating does not extend to a standard RJ45 connection or an unmated connector.

Finish the selection for your installation
Match coding, pin count, connector gender and pin assignment to the equipment, then select cable length and mating clearance. Confirm link speed for the complete assembly and equipment: the Cat7 designation or one model’s speed cannot be applied to every 4-pin and 8-pin configuration. For repeated flexing or drag-chain use, confirm bend radius, motion conditions and flex-life requirements.
