Elecbee CCM96SK 10–60V PWM Brushed DC Motor Speed Controller

The Elecbee CCM96SK provides manual PWM speed adjustment for compatible two-wire brushed DC motors. Its 10–60V DC input range supports suitable 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V motor systems.

The controller is rated for 10A operation and supports a supplier-specified 20A peak current. A remote B100K potentiometer adjusts the 25kHz PWM output across the specified 5–100% control range.

These power figures are based on the 10A rated current. They do not use the 20A peak value as a continuous operating specification.

The motor\'s running, startup and stall current must be checked before connection. A motor with a running current below 10A may still exceed the controller limit during startup, heavy loading or a stalled condition.

25kHz PWM Operation

The controller adjusts speed by rapidly switching the connected DC supply at a 25kHz PWM frequency. Turning the potentiometer changes the duty cycle and therefore the motor\'s average electrical drive.

Not Linear Voltage Regulation: The output is a PWM-switched waveform based on the input supply. It must not be described as a smooth DC output adjustable from zero to the full input voltage.

Minimum Adjustment: The verified speed-control range is 5–100%. Because this conflicts with the separate approximate 0–100% output description, a true zero-output state is not guaranteed without testing the supplied unit.

Open-Loop Control: Actual RPM varies with motor type, supply voltage, controller setting and mechanical load. The CCM96SK does not measure or automatically maintain motor speed.

Potentiometer and Direction

The B100K potentiometer can be mounted through an approximately 8mm panel opening. Set it to a low-output position before applying power, then increase the setting gradually.

The controller does not include electronic forward and reverse control. For a compatible reversible brushed motor, direction may be changed by swapping the two motor wires only after completely disconnecting the DC supply.

Applications and Compatibility

The CCM96SK is suitable for compatible brushed DC motors used in pumps, ventilation fans, conveyors, robotics, workshop equipment, machine tools and automation systems.

Compatible: Two-wire brushed DC motors whose voltage, running current, startup current and stall current remain within the controller limits.

Not Compatible: Three-phase brushless DC motors, stepper motors, RC servo signals or AC motors.

Housing and Wiring Safety

The protective housing measures approximately 88 × 59 × 35mm. Although some supplier descriptions call the enclosure waterproof, no verified IP rating is supplied. Keep the housing, terminals and cable entry points dry.
