I used this device to splice a power cord on a submersible fountain pump. The splice is underwater and so far it’s keeping the cord dry and connected. I hope this last a long time! It is a bit tricky getting the cords connected!

Works well so far, good current rating and compact design helps. Took a while to terminate the 50mm² cable due to limited space in the socket.
