6-port BNC connector

27/08/2021 3

BNC was originally designed for military use and has gained wide acceptance in 2 GHz video and RF applications. BNC uses socketed outer conductors and some plastic dielectrics on each gender connector. This dielectric will cause increased losses at higher frequencies. Above 4 GHz, the slot may radiate signals, so the connector is usable, but it is not necessarily stable at a frequency of about 11 GHz. Available in 50 ohm and 75 ohm versions. BNC connectors are used for signals.
