A pin header (often abbreviated as PH, or simply header), consists of one or more rows of male pins, is a form of electrical connector. And it is normally associated with ribbon cable connectors, or worked as recipients for jumpers.
Application: This connector is widely used in PCB boards in electronics, electrical appliances, and meters.
Function: As a bridge between the blocked or isolated circuits in the circuit, it is responsible for the task of current or signal transmission. Not only can it be usually used in conjunction with the female header to form a board-to-board connection; or mated with the electronic harness end to form a board-to-wire connection; but also it can be used independently for board-to-board connection.
1, The common sizes of pin headers include 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.27mm, 2.0mm and 2.54mm.
2, In terms of the division of plastic height and the number of plastics, the pin headers contain single plastic, double plastic, 3 plastic, etc.

The pinning process is mainly as follows: firstly, the pins are processed with brass (or phosphor bronze) as required, and then nickel is plated and then gold plated as required, and then the insulator is processed by the mold, and finally the size is required on the special equipment. Insert the pins onto the insulator.
